SALE, Morocco, Nov. 17 (AGCNewsNet) – The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the official draw for the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) Morocco 2024 will take place on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, at the Mohammed VI Technical Centre in Sale, Morocco.
The event, scheduled to begin at 20:00 local time (19:00 GMT), will be broadcast live on major African and international channels and streamed on CAF's digital platform, CAF TV.
The draw will determine the group stage composition for the 12 top women’s national teams across Africa competing in the tournament.
The 13th edition of WAFCON is slated to run from July 5 to 26, 2025, in Morocco. This marks the second consecutive edition hosted by the North African nation, where South Africa claimed their first title in 2022.
CAF announced that additional details regarding the draw procedure and other pertinent information will be released in due course.
