CAPE TOWN, Dec. 31 (AGCNewsNet) - Wines of South Africa (WoSA) has announced the return of CapeWine, the country’s largest wine trade show, to be held from Sept. 10-12, 2025, at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC). DHL Express and Hillebrand Gori, a DHL company, will headline the event as sponsors.

CapeWine 2025, a triennial gathering, will highlight South Africa’s vibrant wine industry to an international audience, including trade professionals, media, and wine enthusiasts. Themed "Our Warmest Welcome," the event celebrates not only South Africa’s renowned wines but also the people and stories behind them.

“This tenth edition of our flagship trade event promises to be one of the best yet,” said Siobhan Thompson, CEO of Wines of South Africa. “Twenty-five years after the first CapeWine in 2000, the event has grown exponentially to showcase the phenomenal wines we produce, our wonderfully warm people, and the richness of our culture. I look forward to welcoming trade from around the world.”

The show will host over 400 exhibitors, representing South Africa’s wine regions, and provide immersive experiences, including exploring vineyards, discovering rare varietals, and engaging with like-minded enthusiasts.

First held in 2000 with 100 exhibitors, CapeWine has grown significantly over its ten editions. The 2025 event expects to attract trade and media representatives from over 60 countries, aiming to elevate the global profile of South Africa’s wine industry.

Daily activities will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., featuring networking opportunities, tastings of exceptional wines, and a chance to explore the local culture and landscapes of the Cape Winelands.

A full list of exhibitors and activities is available on the CapeWine 2025 website. Registration opens early in 2025.
