Tripoli, Jan. 16 (AGCNewsNet) – The General Authority for Hajj and Umrah Affairs of Libya has signed the Hajj Agreement for 2025 with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, outlining the protocols and services to be provided to pilgrims for the upcoming season.

The agreement was formalized during a meeting between Ali Mohammed Al-Bashir, head of the Libyan Hajj and Umrah Authority, and Abdel Fattah Mashat, Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia. The discussion also focused on evaluating previous Hajj seasons and exploring ways to enhance services for this year’s pilgrims.

As of now, 1,840,325 citizens have registered in Libya's Hajj system for the 2025 pilgrimage.
