LAGOS, Oct. 7 (AGCNewsNet) – KINGSLEY Sule, also known as Kellyrae, has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija's No Loose Guard Season 9 reality show, walking away with the N100 million grand prize. He was declared the winner by the show’s host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, during the grand finale on Sunday.
Kellyrae received a cash prize of N60 million and a brand-new car, among other items, making up the grand prize total. His victory marked the end of an exciting season that began with a new twist: contestants entered the house in pairs for the first time in the show’s history. Housemates could enter as couples, siblings, or friends, with the pairs being auditioned together.
Kellyrae, who entered the competition with his wife Kassia, formed the duo "Double Kay," the only married couple in the house this season.
The first runner-up was Wanni Danbaki, who entered the show with her twin brother, Handi. However, Handi was evicted after Big Brother disbanded the paired housemates mid-season. Wanni made headlines in the week leading up to the finale when she won the Innoson task, earning her a brand-new SUV courtesy of the Nigerian automaker.
This season also stood out with eight finalists—Kellyrae, Wanni, Onyeka, Victoria, Nelly, Ozee, Anita, and Sooj—competing for the grand prize. Among them, Anita and Nelly were the only other housemates who made it to the finale as pairs.
