Jwaneng, Jan 21 (AGCNewsNet) – Collins of Highbury, Baron Raymond Edward Harry, the UK Minister for Africa, visited the Jwaneng diamond mine in Botswana, operated by Debswana, emphasizing the strong partnership between the UK and Botswana.
During the visit, Debswana MD, Andrew Motsomi, detailed the company’s 55-year legacy of ethical and responsible diamond mining. He highlighted its significant contributions to Botswana’s economy, including advancements in infrastructure, healthcare, and education, while discussing current challenges and opportunities.
